Learn exciting technique throwing on the potter’s wheel. This 2.5 hour class is ideal for beginners and you will learn how wedge the clay, centre, pull up the walls and shape your piece.
One wheel per student
Small classes (up to 9 students)
Price includes clay, glazing and firing for one piece for you to take home. Additional pieces can be purchased for £5 each.
Please note that class sizes are very small so we can only offer refunds or date transfers 21 days before the start of the class. If you can’t make it you can give your place to a friend or a family member.

The sunday evening pottery session I attended with my partner was fantastic. We got a brilliant introduction to the craft and were told about the inner workings of the clay and processes around it. Our mentor was excellent with everyone and made sure we all had his time so that we could all come away with a product of our own at the end of the session. I can’t wait to go back and collect the pieces!
