This page explains how cancellations, reschedules and refunds work for experiences booked through Youmo. Because experiences are run by independent Hosts, the specific terms that apply to your booking are set by the Host and shown at checkout — please always review them before you pay.
Youmo is a service operated by Baluu Ltd. Bookings and refunds are processed through Baluu, so this page should be read alongside Baluu's terms and each Host's own terms.
Youmo is a marketplace that helps you discover experiences run by independent Hosts. There is no single cancellation policy that applies to every experience.
Instead, each Host sets the cancellation and reschedule terms for their own experiences. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones shown for the ticket you select, at the time you book.
Bookings and refunds are processed through Baluu, so Baluu's terms also apply to any cancellation or refund.
The cancellation and reschedule terms for an experience are shown during checkout, before you pay. Always review them for the specific ticket you are booking, as they can differ between tickets and experiences.
Where a Host allows cancellations, refunds are often tiered based on how far in advance you cancel. For example, an experience might offer a full refund if you cancel a certain number of days before, with a reduced refund or no refund closer to the date.
The exact windows and refund amounts are set by the Host and shown on the ticket — the example above is illustrative only. Some experiences may be non-refundable.
Any refund is issued for the experience price as described in the applicable terms. Booking or service fees may be non-refundable.
Some Hosts allow you to reschedule rather than cancel, usually up to a set time before the experience. Whether rescheduling is available, and by when, is shown with the ticket's terms at checkout.
If rescheduling is not offered for your ticket, the cancellation terms apply instead.
To cancel or reschedule a booking, use the options in your booking confirmation or account with Baluu, or contact the Host directly.
Cancellations and reschedules are subject to the terms that applied to your booking, including any cut-off times.
If a Host has not set their own terms for an experience, a standard default policy applies. As with all bookings, the terms that apply to you are the ones shown at checkout.
Occasionally a Host may need to cancel or change an experience. Where this happens, you may be entitled to a refund or to reschedule, in line with the Host's terms and Baluu's terms.
Youmo is not the provider of the experience and is not responsible for fulfilment. Refunds and arrangements in these cases are handled by the Host and Baluu.
Payments are processed through Baluu's payment provider, and any refund is normally returned to the original payment method.
Refund timing depends on the payment provider and your bank. Youmo does not process payments or hold your card details.
We may update this page from time to time. The latest version will always be available here, with the “Last updated” date shown below. The terms that apply to any booking are those shown at the time you booked.
For questions about a specific booking, the Host is the best first point of contact. For anything else, you can get in touch.
