This is a 6 week course in which you will learn the following:
Hand-building
Throwing on a wheel
Turning a pot
Surface decoration and glazing techniques
How to prepare and reclaim clay
Differences between earthenware and stoneware firing
What is provided?
Material and glazes are provided throughout the course. Clay is charged at £4 per kg.
What should I bring?
Please bring an apron, a towel, a pen and a notepad. We do have a selection of tools but you may wish to bring your own.
How many wheels are there?
We have 8 wheels available. Please note that students will need to share the wheels if everyone wants to use them.
What is the size of the class?
This class caters for 13 students.
