Terms & Conditions

Youmo is a discovery marketplace. We bring together Experiences offered by independent Hosts so you can find something to do, and we link you through to book them.

Youmo does not create, own, run or supply the Experiences themselves. Each Experience is provided by the Host responsible for it.

The contract for any Experience you book is between you and the Host. Youmo is not a party to that contract.

Bookings and payments are handled through Baluu and, where applicable, the Host's own systems. Baluu's terms and the Host's terms apply to those bookings.

You may use Youmo only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms.

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the service, scraping content, or using it to post unlawful, harmful or misleading material.

You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide and for keeping any account credentials secure.

We may suspend or withdraw access to Youmo, in whole or in part, at any time where we reasonably consider it necessary.

When you book an Experience, you enter into a contract directly with the Host. Prices, availability and what is included are set by the Host.

Payments are processed securely through Baluu's payment provider. Youmo does not store your card details.

Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds are governed by the Host's cancellation policy and Baluu's terms. Please review these before booking.

Youmo is not responsible for the fulfilment of any Experience, or for any charges, refunds or disputes, which are a matter between you and the Host.

Listings — including descriptions, images, prices, locations and availability — are provided by Hosts. While we want Youmo to be accurate and useful, we do not verify and are not responsible for the content of listings.

Experiences may change, sell out or be cancelled by the Host. We display information as it is provided to us and it may not always be current.

If you believe a listing is inaccurate, inappropriate or in breach of these terms, please contact us.

Reviews and ratings shown on Youmo reflect the views of the people who left them, not those of Youmo.

If you submit a review or other content, you confirm it is accurate, your own, and not unlawful, offensive or misleading. You grant Youmo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display and distribute that content in connection with the Platform.

We may moderate, edit or remove content that we reasonably believe breaches these terms.

Youmo — including its name, logo, design, text and software — is owned by or licensed to Baluu Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute any part of the Platform without our prior written permission, except as permitted by these terms or by law.

Host content and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Youmo links to and relies on third-party services, including Baluu and its payment provider. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms.

We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of any third-party websites or services linked from Youmo.

Youmo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components.

We make no warranty that any Experience will meet your expectations, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties relating to the Platform.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Youmo at any time.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Payments for Experiences are processed through Baluu. Baluu's terms — including its payment, refund and liability provisions — apply to those payments and should be read alongside these terms.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid through Baluu in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Youmo will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the acts or omissions of a Host, the supply (or non-supply) of any Experience, or your reliance on listing information.

Neither party will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.

By using Youmo, you consent to that processing. Where bookings and payments are handled through Baluu, Baluu's privacy practices also apply.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date shown below.

Your continued use of Youmo after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes relating to these terms or your use of Youmo are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
