One Day Quilting course

By the end of the course, you will learn how to:

• Design a quilted block
• Cut out the relevant shapes, blocks and backing
• layout the design
• Batting and backing the quilt
• How to bind the final design
• How to finish the quilt professionally
• Learn the relevant care guidelines for your finished quilt

We will also look at using reclaimed, sustainable fabrics and the role of sewing machines, rotary cutters, and cutting mats in quilting. This short course will cover all you need to know to get started in this absorbing, creative and rewarding craft.
All equipment and materials will be provided.
